Promos is looking for a Financial Controller to lead our accounting operations, manage our Pricing Team, deliver accurate financial reporting and provide the story behind the numbers to help drive financial decisions. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will work closely with all departments, the management team and have a valued seat at the table to contribute meaningfully to financial planning, controls, analysis and cost improvement strategies.  At Pop! What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and hold accountable the pricing team; ensuring quality, speed, accuracy and KPIs.
  • Own accounting operations including oversight of AR/AP functions and running a smooth, timely month-end close.
  • Prepare and present financials to the CEO, CFO, and leadership team.
  • Analyze results, spot trends and make data-driven recommendations. 
  • Build, implement and enforce strong internal controls and support audits.
  • Drive annual planning, budgeting, forecasting and scenario modeling.
  • Collaborate with all departments to provide financial data and analysis to make informed decisions.
  • Maintain clean, reliable accounting system data.
  • Improve processes and optimize systems for accuracy and efficiency.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years in a financial, accounting or similar role
  • Experience managing AR/AP, month-end close and financial reporting functions. 
  • Foundational knowledge of GAAP requirements and internal control frameworks.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Quickbooks) and advanced excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret and present data in a meaningful format
  • Highly organized with project management skills
  • High attention to detail with a passion for data accuracy
  • Ability to communicate clearly and present to groups of team members
  • Ability to work cross-departmentally to control costs and drive savings
